Hello!
I’m Carter Spainhour
Industrial & Product Design 3rd Year at the Savannah College of Art and Design
I am an Industrial Designer studying at SCAD, dedicated to creating empathetic, sustainable, and functional products that balance user needs with real-world business viability. I enjoy taking complex, everyday problems and turning them into clear, impactful solutions.
A lot of my work comes from trying to solve problems people face every day. I’ve worked on mass-produced products like the Strapt feminine product dispensers, now in the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and a bunch of private schools in Atlanta. I also led the design of the Haven Changing Station, a modular changing setup designed to provide people with disabilities with a more comfortable and reliable experience.
I like taking big, challenging problems and turning them into something clear and helpful. I’ve directed teams, led capstone groups, and worked across a bunch of disciplines, and I’m always looking for new projects that push me a bit.
If you want to talk about a project or collaboration, you can reach me at mail@cspainhour.com.
